The successful Technical Support Representative will have experience in the following areas:

  • The Technical Support Representative provides technical support, troubleshooting and training provide to SofTek clients with via telephone, e-mail, and training sessions.
  • Additional responsibilities include call tracking and product testing.
  • Learn, retain and apply technical knowledge to variety of questions and problems called in by clients.
  • Use all troubleshooting tools to resolve clients' issues in a timely manner.
  • Use outstanding customer service skills to negotiate priorities, callback expectations in order to exceed clients' needs.
  • Successful candidates must have a strong working knowledge of PC's and software and an excellent customer service attitude.
  • Experience with accounting or accounting software packages desired. A Computer Science degree and/or previous help desk experience is strong preferred.
  • Retail Dealership experience a plus.

Qualifications

  • A Four-year degree in an accounting or computer science related field.
  • 1 - 2 years professional experience in a service or consulting position.
  • Strong teamwork and communications skills.
  • Ability to think analytically.
  • Desire to continuously learn, challenge, and be challenged.
